REVIEW: The Tomorrow man – Chosen by Rudi (Only because it was a pound).

Plot overview:

Larry Mackey (CORBIN BERNSEN) is a blue-collar dad in the 1970's, determined to make a better future for his young son. A future that's coming a lot faster than he thinks...When a depraved gang of time travelers from 2000 cross Larry's path, he's accidentally forwarded, where he discovers he's the reason his grown son has become a gangland murderer.

Review:

If you like sub standard time travelling films then this is the one for you. As always they neglect to take any care in realising the implications involved in time travel and simply throw it all out of the window. The star of the film is an alcoholic wife/child beater who gets groinally impaled by a tree in a car accident – not one to care for really. It also co-stars a woman who is infected with a disease known as ‘being terminally annoying’ Otherwise the film is a dull mish mash of sci fi timetravel cow pat with laughable special effects and more plot flaws than a Pepin Merhi film. It also has a gut wrenching sentimental happy ending that would get even mass murderer sadists (or martial arts serial killer rapists) to puke up. The films best feature is a boy that grows into a monkey of seriously Neanderthal features. Yet another mediocre Sci Fi film and certainly one I would recommend avoiding.
