REVIEW: Street Crimes – chosen by Rudi Cover Quote: “A fight film with a real story” David Cater, Editor - Inside King Fu Magazine Suggested Replacement Cover Quote: “A shite film with a crap story” Ant Fleming – Inside his bedroom Theme: Shemales Plot overview: When two cops convince the kids of the street to settle their differences in the ring, the leader of the local crime syndicate begins to gun down police and civilians. Rudi’s ramblings: A straight to car boot sale release from PM Entertainment Group Inc. starring veteran “I just play myself” actor Dennis Farina and early nineties marshal arts loser Michael Worth. The story: Tony Carter (Michael Worth) a cop, has started up a marshal arts club to keep the local young people off the streets and away from drugs and gangs. Gerardo the neighbourhood bad guy drug dealer type doesn’t like it and tries to close down the club. Some people get killed, Tony falls for his partner’s unconvincingly blind daughter, Gerardo kidnaps her etc. and it all collapses in a pile of clichés, unoriginal ideas, bad acting, bad marshal arts and boredom for the viewer. Ant’s balanced view: It would be a tough choice if I had to decide whether to watch this film again or whether to commit a suicide bomb attack on my own family. Yes it really is that dire. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone except for torture purposes. Overall percentage: 12%
