REVIEW: Last to surrender – Chosen by Ant.

Tagline: First to fight
Suggested replacement tagline: Load of utter shite
Theme: Chinese cops, felines, boredom.

Plot overview:

When the partner of Nick Ford (Roddy Piper), a hardnosed American cop, is killed in a violent shoot-out in Chinatown, he is paired with Wu Yin (Han Soo Ong), a cop from China to take down a vicious narcotics dealer. But don't expect this pair to get along! This crime-filled action caper is peppered with attempts at humor stemming from the mismatch of this hard-as-nails odd couple.

Ant's balanced view:

I was the first to surrender when watching this action packed homosexual romantic comedy. (err well it may have been an action film – but I cant actually remember as my brain dissolved after about 10 minutes of this film.) The film stars Roddy piper which I thought meant that it couldn’t be bad, sadly I was mistaken as this action flick is as boring as they come. The story plods along slower than an Olympic runner that had just had both legs shot out with a sniper rifle. By the end of the film you really don’t care what happens, which is lucky as I can’t remember anyway. To conclude – I am surprised we didn’t turn this off after about 15 minutes of abuse.
