REVIEW: Fear – Chosen by Rudi

Suggested replacement tagline: Nutter Vietnam vet has an orgy of killing

Plot overview:

A family vacation takes a detour into terror when an unstable, escaped prisoner takes the family hostage. Believing he is still in Vietnam, the prisoner's mind explodes into a killing spree. The family's father, himself a veteran, must summon up guerilla tactics and jungle savvy from an old war to fight a new one.

Review:

Frank Stallone pulls the punches as the cuddly anti-hero in this hardcore boreathon. Plot involves the escape of some insane prisoners and a bunch of escapee extra’s from the ‘Nation Lampoon’ series of films. Yes its nasty prisoners vs. pathetic family in this storming battle of the titans. Sadly even an insane Vietnam veteran does little to spice up the plain as can be action. The film did make me ask the moral question – ‘should this film have been made’ the answer is definitely no.
